Instrument, music, hat, sunscreen, water and a refillable water bottle, gym shoes. Participants should apply sunscreen BEFORE camp each day as we spend most of the day outside.
No matter what the weather is all summer, it seems it is always 99 and sunny during band camp so PLEASE be sure to apply sunscreen at home, bring sunscreen, wear a hat, sunglasses and clothing that is loose fitting and covers your shoulders. We spend a majority of the day outside and on the turf which does reflect the sun so PLEASE BE PREPARED. We take breaks at regular intervals and students are allowed water breaks at any time but we ask that you come prepared wearing sunscreen and are well hydrated. Water is the best option, not soda! Be prepared for rain as well and a change of clothes is never a bad idea!
