This camp is for boys entering grades 7-12 and have some prior golf experience or have an interest in trying out for the WTHS Boys Golf team. Students should have some prior experience golfing, as they will spend time on the driving range, putting green, short game area, and golf course.
Boys who have never golfed before are encouraged instead to take lessons from the junior program at Bittersweet.
Golfers will receive instruction while on the driving range, putting green, and short game area. Range balls will be provided. Golf rules, etiquette and strategy will be covered. There will be focus on drills/competitions that golfers can use for future practice sessions.
Golfers must bring their own golf clubs, balls, tees, and wear proper golf attire (collared shirt, hat, shorts, belt, etc.) Golfers are encouraged to bring money to purchase food or drink.
Day 1 will be held at the Almond campus, room 117 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Day 2 will be held at Bittersweet Golf Course, 875 Almond Road in Gurnee from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Please contact Coach Bruno (rbruno@wths.net) with any questions.
